Endicott Jamie Misner put out a call for people to help pick up trash along the highway between Endicott and Winona for Earth Day, April 22. Thirty-five people showed up for the task. They met at the Endicott Gun Club, started their clean up and filled four pickups full of 100 trash bags. Endicott Sharon Huff has returned from visiting her three children and their families, Bob, Julie and PJ Huff in Antioch, Calif. While there, they all flew to Hawaii as a high school graduation gift to PJ. Endicott Endicott Trap Club had a successful weekend at the Camas Prairie Trap Shoot in Walla Walla this past weekend. Joe Veitz won Junior Runner Up in Singles; Jessica Pelissier won Ladies Handicap Runner Up; Connor Pelissier won Junior Gold Singles after a 75 bird shoot off; James David Gilchrist won Overall Handicap and Chayne Aeschliman was on the Camas Prairie All Star Team. Endicott Trinity Lutheran Church hosted a potato bar Feb. 18 to raise funds for youths who are heading to the ELCA Youth Gathering in Houston, Texas, this summer. Endicott Lorna Burns returned home after spending 11 days with her longtime friend, Ann Donaldson in Thousand Palms, Calif., and staying at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Lola and Gene Aune. While there, they took the famous Palm Springs aerial tram, hiked the Indian Canyon of the Palms and shopped at the Indio Festival of the Arts. Endicott Myrna Morasch spent extended time during the Christmas holiday visiting family in Napa, Calif. She visited Kelvin, Kyle and Tyler Morasch and Guy and Maureen Larsen. Maureen and Myrna took a three-mile trip through the Muir Woods National Monument and then a ferry trip to San Francisco for soup and bread. Endicott Endicott Gun Club will start its 10-week trap shooting Jan. 7. This competition will continue until the middle of March. It will start every Sunday at 9 a.m. and go until around 2 p.m., depending on the number of shooters. Endicott Pastor Fred Tribble and his wife, Cinda, hosted a Christmas dinner for locals who were alone for Christmas. Twenty participants brought the usual Christmas dishes, and the Tribbles cooked the turkey and ham. An extra table was set up for the desserts. Endicott Endicott and the surrounding community Saturday enjoyed the lighting of Christmas lights all over town, Japanese lanterns that flew over the town in a steady stream and the arrival of Santa in the back of a fire truck. Endicott Endicott Community Club has been busy with Christmas activities, helping out at the Endicott Food Center and the Andersons. The last of the decorations for Christmas are being put up by Carol Larson and her crew. Endicott Endicott Gun Club's fall meat shoot was Nov. 19. The group made their sausage on the preceding Friday at the Endicott Food Center and packaged it Saturday. The Shoot attracted many individuals who enjoyed sausage breakfast and lunch, along with shooting games and the best weather. Endicott The Endicott Community Club held its annual German Dinner and Silent Auction Nov. 5. The event was set up in the school cafeteria and gym Nov. 4. The crowd numbered more than 200.
