WARDEN - A new pump station provides irrigation water to nearly 10,500 acres of farmland in Eastern Washington. The EL 47.5 station was dedicated on May 27, seven miles northeast of Warden. About 50 people attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Rep. Mary Dye, R-Pomeroy, was among several state lawmakers who helped secure funding for the $20.8 million project.
