    Gazette Intern The Idaho Repertory Theatre’s summer season has been cut short this year due to construction projects in the University of Idaho’s Hartung Theater. The theater’s rigging system, as well as its stage and the flooring, are all being remodeled. “We were due for updates,” said Alexiss Turner, marketing director for the IRT.     Gazette Intern Reaney Park in Pullman will be alive with the sound of music when the 2012 Concerts in the Park series begins next week. Pullman Parks and Recreation has lined up six weeks of different musical entertainment for concerts every Wednesday. Each concert will also have food for sale from different vendors. The food vendors will begin selling at 5:30 in the afternoon.     Gazette News Intern On Memorial Day, residents of the Whitman Health & Rehab Center in Colfax were thrilled by the gifts they found themselves to be receiving from a stranger, Joey Reyes Owen. She made 48 quilts and donated them in memory of her father, Fidel Reyes. “It was just a labor of love,” she explained. Joey was born and raised in Colfax, one of the daughters of Josie and Fidel Reyes who immigrated to the area in 1965 from Cuba.
