    DUSTY Suzy McNeilly traveled to Fredricksburg, Va., to spend a couple of days with her son Jake. They spent time visiting hanging out in bookstores, a favorite mom/son outing. Jake treated his mother to dessert at the Melting Pot. McNeilly traveled on to Camp LeJeune, N.C., to help her daughter Christina’s family move to their new posting.   • Dusty club turns out 50 baby blankets

    Dusty Last week Wednesday, Dusty BB Club met in the parish hall of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in LaCrosse to make baby blankets for the free maternity clinic at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane. Seven members, plus guests Alice and Margaret Mackleit, made approximately 50 blankets. Hostesses were Diane Monson and Janell Guske. The next meeting will be March 9 with hostesses Jane Aune and Suzy McNeilly. Ann Hogue will present a program on Hooked Rugs.   • Voglers celebrate Christmas in Europe

    Dusty Mark and Kathy Vogler spent Christmas in Germany with their daughter, Anna, and son-in-law, Chad Assareh, who are currently residing in Ulm. They were joined by son Henry Vogler and Cari Thompson. The group traveled through the Ulm-Munich area, touring castles, cathedrals and eating all manner of wonderful food. Following Christmas, the group took the high-speed train to Paris where they enjoyed the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, numerous museums, cathedrals, monuments and all manner of wonderful foods.     Dusty Carol Kyllo spent Christmas in Spokane with her daughter’s family, Tami and Wayne Haas and children. They were joined on Christmas Day by her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Penny Kyllo. She spent New Year’s Eve at a party at the home of Penny and Jerry Gilchrist. Arriving Friday were Gaylene and Don Manning and children, Valleyford, and Kyle and Ann Sager, Spokane. Arriving Saturday were Blake and Marcy Sager and children, Colfax.     Dusty Blake Heaton is out of the Intensive Care Unit at Sacred Heart. He has been moved to the fifth floor where he receives dialysis treatments three times a week. Norm and Gloria Erickson welcomed new granddaughter Chloe Janelle Clark born Nov. 21, to Ronda and Brian Clark, El Mirage, Ariz. This is their first child. She weighed six pounds, one ounce. Steve and Dianne Appel attended the Washington Farm Bureau state convention in Yakima Nov. 14 - 18.     Dusty Dianne Appel accompanied Colfax FFA delegates to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis from Oct. 19-23. They spent Oct. 17-18 in Chicago before traveling on to the convention.     Dusty Steve and Becky Camp hosted their annual Powered Parachute Rally/Fly-In this weekend. There were 32 machines this year. Some participants started showing up last Tuesday. Saturday night was a group potluck which also celebrated Becky’s 50th birthday. With the inclusion of some of Becky’s family, 65 to 70 people attended dinner.     Dusty Approximately 300 friends and family attended the outdoor wedding and reception Saturday of Katy Tellessen, daughter of Dave and Kathy Tellessen of Spokane, and Justin Heaton, son of Blake and Carmen Heaton of Dusty. The ceremony was performed in a gazebo specially built for the couple by the bride’s father, and situated on the lawn outside the home of the groom’s parents.
