    The Washington State University Cougars opened their Pac-12 conference schedule Saturday, Sept. 24 against the #15-ranked Oregon Ducks and were looking to continue an, at that point, undefeated season.     PALOUSE – The Week 1 matchup between the Garfield-Palouse Vikings and St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse Eagles ended with a 55-0 victory for the Eagles.     COLFAX – The Colfax Bulldogs beat the Reardan Screaming Eagles 20-7 on Friday in a closely-contested contest. After a few back-and-forth drives that ended in punts for both teams, Reardan (1-3, 1-3) struck first with a 50-yard touchdown pass to running back Aidan Chilson on third down.     COLFAX – After coming up short last week in a five-set match against the Pullman Greyhounds, the Colfax Bulldogs were in for another test this week in the team’s season opener against the 3-0 Reardan High School volleyball team.
