He was a warm, caring man with a great sense of humor, an unwavering love of the Palouse and was always appreciative of life. Wally was born January 19, 1923, in Dayton, Washington, the son of Peter and Anna Marie Bodker, he was the oldest of two sons.     Linda Sue Burke, of Tekoa, died on September 16, 2021. Born in Colfax on April 19, 1950, to Pete and Marge Smith, Linda grew up among the wheatfields near Ewan with her brother, Ken. Going by the moniker "Lil Pete," she enjoyed ice-skating on the family pond and generally raising hell on her Honda trail bike.     WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced its plan to help cover the cost of transporting feed for livestock that rely on grazing.
