Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Velda Zae Sheer, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025. She was born on April 11, 1932, in Benge, Washington, to Kirk and Nora McCall. At the age of 2, Velda's family moved to Winona, Washington, and later, when she was 15, they settled in Colfax, where she lived for the remainder of her life.
