Diane Cook will assist Dr. Swannack on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Stephanie White from Ritzville will work as bookkeeper Monday through Thursday.     Whitman County Humane Society’s fourth annual Fur Ball will be at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) Event Center in Pullman, Saturday, Feb. 19, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Proceeds will help support the operation of AnimalHaven pet shelter.     Little Angels Child Care of Colfax plans a pancake breakfast Feb. 12 at the United Methodist Church to raise funds and show the public improvements to the center. The breakfast will be served 7 to 10:30 a.m. by day care staff and volunteers from the church. A meal will cost $7 for individuals or $18 for families.
