    Tigercat basketball rooters from LaCrosse and Washtucna cranked up the volume Monday at Hardy Gym in Endicott when the Tigercat-Touchet boys game went into overtime. The Tigercat girls donned their cheer garb after defeating Tri-Cities Prep in the first elimination game of a full playoff schedule on Presidents’ Day.   • Gar/Pal FFA will host donkey hoops

    A Garfield/Palouse FFA donkey basketball fundraiser will be Friday, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m. in the Palouse gym and feature four teams made up of FFA students, faculty, and Garfield and Palouse residents. The night will start with an FFA-faculty round followed by a match between Garfield and Palouse. Winners will advance to a final round. All FFA members are selling tickets to this event at $2 off the gate price. Advanced ticket prices are $8 for adults, $6 for students (grades 7-12) and $4 for children through sixth grade.     The 26th annual banquet and auction for Ducks Unlimited of Pullman will be Saturday, Feb. 20, at the Gladish Community Center in Pullman. Doors will open at 5 p.m., and the prime rib dinner will be served at 6:30. A live auction will start at 7:30 p.m. The meal will be catered by Mike Hayton of the Old Post Office Wine Gallery.     Garfield/Palouse hosts DeSales tonight, while Tekoa/Oakesdale travels to Waitsburg for the opening round of the boys SE 2B tourney, The Vikings open the tourney as the top seed from the north division after wrapping up the season with a 7-3 league record, 13-6 overall. Tekoa/Oakesdale faces Waitsburg/Prescott at 6 p.m. tonight. The Cardinals are the number two seed from the south, finishing with a 5-3 league mark.     After first rounds on home courts Wednesday and Thursday, teams in the SE 2B division will make a full-scale stop in the Colfax game Saturday. Four elimination games, matching of losers of the first rounds, will be on the docket at Colfax starting with the girls game at 1:30.     Colfax girls notched another win over Reardan Friday night to win the top Bi-County playoff slot and then dropped Liberty 61-41 in the first round of district action Monday at Mt. Spokane High.     After posting a 1-1 mark in the Bi-County playoff at Reardan last week Colfax boys rolled out a heavy 93-39 win Monday in the first round of the NE district playoffs at Mt. Spokane High.     Justin Aldrich of LaCrosse, who collided with Pomeroy teammate Troy Knebel last week for the 160 title in the wrestling sub-regional at Ritzville, battled through all rounds of the regional at Kittitas Saturday.
