    On Feb. 18, Colfax High School freshman Cooper Phillips took fifth place in the 1B/2B boys 120-lb. wrestling bracket at the Mat Wrestling Classic state tournament in Tacoma.     COLFAX – On Monday, Feb. 27, during the Whitman County Commissioner board meeting Public Works Director Mark Storey informed the board that weight restrictions on county roads west of 195 throughout the county are all lifted, while the ones east of 195 remain in place. “We’ve had our county roads restricted to heavy loads since Dec. 27,” Storey said, noting that a lot of the farmers are wanting to move product, and farm equipment.
