    COLFAX — On Friday, March 1, more than two dozen lakes in Eastern Washington opened for trout fishing. The lakes in Whitman County currently open for trout fishing are: Pampa Pond: Located on State Highway 26 near LaCrosse. Rock Lake: Open year round in Whitman County.     OAKESDALE - The Oakesdake Nighthawks girls High School student-athletes are bringing home more hardware for the 2023-24 sports year.
