    PULLMAN — Whitman County teachers and school staff members were offered COVID vaccines on March 6 and 380 were vaccinated at SEL Event Center in Pullman. Whitman County Public Health Director Chris Skidmore reported to county commissioners Monday. More teachers and staff will be vaccinated in weekday appointments offered at Whitman Hospital, Pullman Regional Hospital, and Palouse Medical, which should represent all teachers and staff in the county who want to be vaccinated – for the first shot.     COLFAX – A man allegedly stole a shower at Pullman Planet Fitness. Justin N. Jorgens, 37, of Pullman, was charged with burglary in the second degree and theft in the third degree in Whitman County District Court on March 4.     COLFAX — Colfax Junior-Senior High School went on lockdown for less than five minutes Wednesday after an anonymous call claimed a student was bringing a gun. “We determined there was never a threat at any time,” said Whitman County Sheriff Brett Myers.     COLFAX – A Pullman man is accused of raping his girlfriend, slapping her twice, and fighting with her neighbor until he was covered in bear spray. James S. Olson, 28, of Pullman, is charged with rape in the second degree – domestic violence and assault in the fourth degree – domestic violence in Whitman County Superior Court.     BOYER PARK — Three original docks at Boyer Park and Marina will be replaced. The work is paid for in part by a $1 million grant from the Washington Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) to the Port of Whitman. The port made the announcement Tuesday.     COLFAX — Whitman County commissioners decided to pay a citizen for installing a culvert to prevent flooding on his property. The county agreed to cover the cost for materials and estimated labor, after initially offering to pay for just materials.
