    COLFAX – Local business owners can direct taxes back into the community under the Washington Main Street program. Washington businesses can direct their B&O or PU taxes to the Colfax Downtown Association instead of paying taxes and letting the government allocate the funding, local officials said.     ROSALIA – Rosalia is celebrating its 150th anniversary with the return of Battle Days and the All Class Reunion after a two-year absence. Lori Furman moved to Rosalia three years ago and immediately joined the Battle Days committee. She dedicated much of her time to the event. Fields, 26, is charged with drive-by shooting, second-degree kidnapping and five counts of second-degree assault in Whitman County Superior Court.     COLFAX - Backed-up pipes have caused plumbing issues for the Whitman County Jail. During a Whitman County Commission meeting last week, Sheriff Brett Myers reported "roughly a month and a half ago, the pipes were blocked and a leak started, once again."     COLFAX – A local wrestling enthusiast and long-time coach is calling the Saturday, March 12, Colfax Little Guy tournament a success. According to Jack McBridge, 322 wresters participated in the event at Colfax High School.
