    COLFAX — Delaney Imler led the circle on Tuesday’s game against Asotin. Imler threw a no-hitter to lead Colfax Bulldogs Varsity 10-0. The Bulldogs secured the victory with six runs in the second inning. Ella Jones, Karmen Akkeson, Keilena Nelson, Harper Booth, and Imler led the charge, knocking runs in the inning.     COLTON –– Colton pulled away late in a 5-3 victory against Pomeroy in their first game in a doubleheader on Monday, April 10. The game was tied at three, with Colton batting in the top of the fifth when Grant Wolf grounded out, scoring one run. Pomeroy started with scoring in the first inning.     COLFAX –– Varsity Bulldogs took the lead late in the game against Asotin at an away game Tuesday afternoon. Colfax defeated Asotin 9-4 and was tied until the third inning.     OLYMPIA – Gov. Jay Inslee is expected to sign multiple new firearms restrictions into law in the coming two weeks. House Bill 1143 passed the Senate 28-18 on Saturday, April 7.     SPOKANE VALLEY – Avista ratepayers will face higher bills beginning July 1 if a proposed rate hike is approved by the state Utilities and Transportation Commission.     COLFAX — A homeless man accused of failing to register as a sex offender was sentenced at Whitman County Superior Court on Friday, April 7. James Reiber, 49, was arrested on a warrant placed on Feb. 9 for failing to register as a sex offender for two prior charges. Whitman County Superior Court Judge, David Frazier, sentenced Reiber to 14 months in jail and probation following his release.
