    Palouse school will conduct a free kindergarten and preschool screening Thursday, May 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the elementary school.     Traffic control flaggers are now stationed at the first segment of Airport Road off Highway 26 as work on the project has extended to the west end of the road. M.A. DeAtley crews have removed pavement and are adding fill rock to that part of the road. The western most segment of the road was left open when work on the project started last fall.
