    Mayor Todd Vanek April 16 reported state Department of Transportation officials have requested a session with the city council to discuss the next course of action for revision of the intersection of highways 26 and 195 at the north end of town.     The quietest routes in each state were recently announced by Geotab, a GPS fleet tracking and management company, and the honoree in Washington was 27 miles of State Route 127 between Dusty and Dodge Junction.     Charges of third degree assault, criminal trespass in the first degree and obstruction of justice were filed April 18 against Kayle Irene Simpson, 22, Pullman. The assault charge alleges she kicked Deputy Tyler Langerfeld in the shin when she was being arrested outside of Stubblefield's bar in Adams Mall near the WSU campus March 28.
