    Palouse and Whitman conservation districts, along with the Whitman County office of the Natural Resource Conservation Service, can now accept applications for funding to implement measures aimed at improving water quality. Mary Rosen of the Palouse Conservation District reported Monday thatthe agencies which oversee land around the South Fork of the Palouse River have been selected for funding through the NRCS National Water Quality Initiative.
