    St. John, Washington hosted their first "spring game" Thursday, June 8 at St. John high school. The game was an 8 v 8 match up, with the St. John team splitting into two separate teams to go against each other to have fun, while also fighting for roster spots. The game was played as a "red vs. yellow game". It was a rough start to the game, as it started raining just an hour or so before the 7 p.m. scheduled kickoff.     COLFAX — Team Ace Hardware has won the Men’s Spring League in Colfax, Washington. The tournament was played on red tees and Thursday, June 8 was the final week of play, which determined Ace Hardware as the champions.     COLFAX — A 34-year-old former social worker in Colfax is accused of extorting a woman for sex in exchange for helping her get her children back. Robert Tarver has been charged with Receiving Unlawful Compensation, Extortion in the Second Degree, and Perjury in the First Degree. Tarver pleaded not guilty to the Whitman County Superior Court charges on the morning of Friday, June 9.
