    Volunteer ambulance services in the areas of Garfield-Farmington, Tekoa and Rosalia are seeking candidates for Volunteer EMT service. All recent high school graduates are encouraged to apply. The combined, nonprofit ambulance services have been serving the area since 1972. Applicants need to be 18 years or older to apply. A high school diploma is preferred, but not required.     Garfield-Palouse High School student Mitchell Jamison has been awarded a $1,500 scholarship from America’s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders, a new program sponsored by the Monsanto Fund. Jamison will study agricultural business management at the University of Idaho next fall – after spending a year as a state FFA secretary.     The Whitman Community Hospital Auxiliary annual luncheon meeting was in the hospital cafeteria June 1. This year's scholarship recipients are Jolee Aeschliman and Amara Huber, both of Colfax.
