Annalynn Randall, recent Pullman High School graduate, received the highest Girl Scout honor, the Gold Award this spring. To receive this award, Randall had to complete a project in the community. She created and installed “Buddy Benches” at three Pullman elementary school playgrounds, including Jefferson, Sunnyside and Franklin. Pullman Chamber and Visitor Center Community Investment Committee has awarded a $10,000 grant to Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation. The funds will be used to purchase sensors, which will provide Pullman High School athletes with helmet and headband sensors that will monitor and measure impacts. Marian Francis McKinney passed away on March 22, 2019, at Arcadia Healthcare Center in Arcadia, Calif., where she had been a resident since February 2017, receiving care for progressive complications from Parkinson's disease. Marian was born to Leonard & Martha McKinney at their home in Palouse, Wash., on March 7, 1937. She grew up in Palouse and graduated from Palouse High School in 1955. Donald R. Hickman, age 79, met Jesus on May 26, 2019. He was born on April 21, 1940, to Dave and Mildred Hickman. He graduated from Palouse High School and attended Washington State University.
