    Gregory Mader, 74, a lifelong Pullman, Wash., farmer, passed away June 12, 2023, at his home on the family farm outside Pullman, following a courageous battle with cancer. Greg was born January 15, 1949, in Moscow, Idaho, to Paul & Eleanor (Hall) Mader. He grew up on the family farm and attended Pullman schools. He was born Jan. 31, 1930, in Champaign, Illinois, to Fred and Gwendolyn (Schick) Olson. He and his parents moved to the family farm near Palouse in 1932, and he graduated from Palouse High School in 1948.
