    PULLMAN — The Palouse Ridge Golf Course has teamed up with the Pullman Regional Hospital to put on a golf tournament that takes place Saturday, July 8. The tournament is for golfers of all ages and skill levels. Breakfast will kick off the event, which starts at 7 a.m., followed by the beginning of the tournament, taking place at 8:30 a.m. The tournament is a shotgun-start format and is a four-person scramble tournament.     LACROSSE — Whitman County will see some of their youth compete in the Silver State Stampede Rodeo, taking place July 14-16 at Elko County Fairgrounds in Elko, Nevada.     PULLMAN — The Palouse Hills Muzzleloaders event that was scheduled to happen Saturday, June 25, has been cancelled this year. Last year’s event saw rifle and pistol shooting, as well as tomahawk and knife throwing, among other outdoors events and activities.     COLFAX — An inmate at Whitman County Jail died after he was found unresponsive in his cell. The inmate, Nicholas Bunch, 40, died over the weekend at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane. Corrections officers located Bunch unresponsive in his cell while conducting a regular round in the afternoon on Monday, June 12. Officers immediately notified EMS and began lifesaving measures.     COLFAX - A dog, whose owner is from the St. John area, went missing in Colfax approximately 12 p.m., Friday, June 23, on Main Street, near Serfes Foods.
