Whitman County - The Washington State Library (WSL) announced Whitman County Rural Library District was selected to receive three grants totaling $6,500 to advance digital equity, provide outreach opportunities and supply personal protective equipment. COLFAX – The Port of Whitman County has received permission from county commissioners to extend the time in which it has to spend funds. The Port was granted $1,000,000 from the county's .09 fund to support rural fiber extensions to a transmitter sited in the county. Originally, the money was supposed to be spent by Aug. 2020.
