The Palouse police department is on the homestretch to owning its rented Harley Davidson motorcycle after the motorcycle’s owner ended its lease with Palouse this month. Police Chief Jerry Neumann is wrapping up the last pieces of paperwork for the motorcycle and Palouse is set to be the official owner within two weeks. Local law enforcement took Christopher Allen Davidson, 24, into custody this afternoon, after a 12-hour manhunt in Colfax. The suspect, who has been spotted several times in north Colfax during the pre-dawn search was arrested along Railroad Ave. which is on the north side of the railroad tracks, across from the Perkins House.
