Road signs marking Whitman County's status as America's top wheat-producing county are in and waiting to be installed by County Public Works crew in conjunction with the Washington State Department of Transportation. Artists Garth Amundson and Pierre Gour explore how historical photos suppressed queer culture in an exhibit that begins Thursday, Aug. 9, at the University of Idaho Prichard Art Gallery. Bunyard Automotive in Colfax this week donated a car to a local family. As part of their new autoclub program, owner Jacob Bunyard purchased a Ford Focus from an online seller in Spokane, fixed up a number of the vehicle's problems and donated it to Rich and Dyann Nelson.
