    Duane M. King A celebration of the life of Duane M. King, 60, St. John resident for the past 10 years, was July 30 at the Assembly of God Church in St. John, and another service will be at a later date in Indiana where he resided most of his life. Mr. King died July 7, 2001, at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital hospice wing after a seven-week battle with cancer.     John and Mary Kaye Stelzer celebrated their 50th anniversary in July by taking a road trip in Oregon with their daughter, Coral Anne, son-in-law Frank and granddaughter Linnae Roeder. Stelzer and Mary Kaye Mortimer were married Sept. 2, 1961, in the Methodist Church in St. John. Cousin of the groom, Gene Ross, performed the ceremony. John was employed on the farm of L.J. Kile.     The robots came in August. In the midst of area-wide fair preparations, the Whitman County 4H hosted its first-ever Robotics Camp at the CETC in Colfax.
