  • Letter for Commissioners

    Whitman County Gazette|Aug 22, 2024

I am writing to our commissioners to respectfully plead to do SOMETHING to stop this travesty of ruining the beautiful, productive Palouse Country. Please remember that your were elected for the people of Whitman County, not the outside money grabbers that want to ruin our area with our tax dollars for their gain. They are lying in every way. Saying they support our communities, right, they are throwing around a few dollars to make it look like they care about our towns. These turbines are worthless eyesores & most certainly are not...

  • Eventually, the money will run out

    Mark Harmsworth, Washington Policy Center|Aug 22, 2024

A universal basic income promises a government guaranteed income which is supposed to improve the economic situation of those receiving the money, typically median or lower income families. The study, however, d...

The program, called Apple Health Expansion, is shouldered by Washington state taxpayers alone, unlike Medicaid. Medicaid is funded by a federal-state partnership and is not available to people who entered the U.S. unauthorized or who were lawfully admitted but whose status expired or was revoked. Becky C...
