Doris G. Potts (Jones), age 91, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2024, in Spokane, Washington. She was born on April 13, 1933, in St. John, Washington, to Emma and Ed Jones and was one of seven siblings. Doris married James W. Potts in 1958, and they made their home in Lamont until 2001, when they relocated to Spokane. Together they had three daughters: Debbie, Sandie and Lori. SPOKANE — The state Department of Fish and Wildlife has filed multiple emergency rules to help prevent the spread of chronic wasting disease in deer across the state.
