Hooper The first annual “Ladies Only Foo Foo Clinic/Challenge” was Sept. 13 at Hooper Crossing Ranch. Keith and Carla Danielson hosted the event which started off with Susie McNeilly giving an hour long “ Cowgirl Yoga” class, followed by three hours of horsemanship instructions by Keith and a salad for lunch. The Board of Trustees along with the Friends of Whitman County Library recently recognized Troy and Alicia Wilson of Tekoa and Lavelle Gardner of Oakesdale for their outstanding support of Whitman County Library. Friends president Virginia Pittman was joined by mayors from both towns to present the honors. LaCrosse The mud will be flying once again in LaCrosse Saturday, Oct. 3. Mud Bog racing returns to the track just outside of town, with races starting at 11 a.m. All types of vehicles will try their hand at the 200 foot long track, with 24 inches of thick mud.
