The winners of the 2018 Palouse Empire Fair Beef Carcass Contest were announced Oct. 17 in the WSU Meats Laboratory. Seventy market steers that showed in the 4H and FFA divisions of the Palouse Empire Fair vied for prize money in the contest. After meeting with county commissioners on 22 Oct. it became apparent that Mike Largent doesn't care about the conditions in our small western county communities. He states that county government doesn't have a responsibility to enforce county zoning regulations in our unincorporated communities.
