    COLFAX — On the ballot this election season Initiative 2066 passed, prohibiting state and local governments from restricting access to natural gas. The initiative would also prohibit the state building code council from discouraging or punishing the use of natural gas in any building. Initiative 2109 would, “Repeal an excise tax imposed on the sale or exchange of long-term capital assets by individuals who have annual capital gains of over $250,000,” according to the Washington State Voters Pamphlet.
