COLFAX — In a season where the Colfax football team finished 2023 with the same record as when the season ended in 2022, the Bulldogs ended this season on an extreme high, shutting out the Tonasket Tigers. On October 31, 2023, Ted Deerkop (65) of Garfield, Wash., ended a brave and gritty fight against cancer. He was surrounded by family on a sunny day in his favorite month.
