The 2018-2019 Pullman United Way campaign is underway to support member agencies. These non-profit organizations provide critical social and health services as well as important programs for young and old in Whitman County. The goal this year is $250,000. The 14th annual Turkey Leg fun run at Palouse will be Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, at 7:45 a.m. All proceeds are used to fund new children’s books and activities for the Palouse Library. The race will begin at the Roy Chatters Museum at 7:45 a.m. with donuts and hot drinks provided by Palouse McLeod’s Market, and Beverly and Greg Pearce. The charges were against a man named Smith, who hails from Heppner, Ore., and one Mrs. Moody, both married persons.
