    COLFAX — At the conclusion of the 2023 2B football season, the district has announced their All-League honors. Awards were given out for: Coach of the year, assistant coach of the year, first-team offense, second-team offense, first-team defense, and second-team defense. The Colfax Bulldogs had two football players who were recognized, one on offense and one on defense. On offense, Colfax senior JP Wigen received a first-team All-League honor for the Flex position.     YAKIMA - The St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse Eagles took eighth in the WIAA state 1B volleyball tournament. The tournament took place in Yakima on Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 8 and 9. The Eagles had two games on Wednesday, followed by two more on Thursday. The Eagles entered the tournament as the 10 seed in a bracket of 20 teams, and exceeded expectations, capturing an eighth place trophy in this year's tournament.     YAKIMA - The Colfax Bulldogs volleyball team used their strong end-of-season winning streak to peak at the state tournament in Yakima on Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 8 and 9. They won three-of-four in the tournament, and walked away with a third place trophy.     YAKIMA - The Oakesdale Nighthawks entered the state 1B WIAA tournament as the number one overall seed, and did not disappoint, winning the state tournament for the third-straight year.     COLFAX- A theft of several construction items from a work trailer outside the Fonk's building on Main Street occurred yesterday morning, Wednesday, Nov. 15, at approximately 3:34 a.m. Colfax Police Chief Bruce Blood said they are trying to identify a suspect seen on video footage near the trailer, leaving, and footage of him heading towards the getaway car in the alley near Tick Klock carrying the stolen items.
