    COLFAX — Whitman County Public Health (WCPH) is investigating an outbreak of whooping cough (pertussis) within the county. As of November 1, there have been 48 confirmed cases, an increase of 11 since October 25. Health officials are urging those diagnosed to complete a five-day course of antibiotics and to remain isolated until treatment is finished.
