Endicott Women from Trinity Lutheran Church, twice a year, serve a dinner to the WSU Ministries Breathe. The students attend and there is a short spiritual service and communion. Endicott Endicott Community Club Saturday hosted a wine and beer tasting for the community at the Endicott Food Center to show its appreciation for their support. Several beers, wines and sparkling drinks were served and there were a lot of appetizers and desserts for the guests to try. Attendance was up this year with about 60 people present. After this information was sent in, the library circulated a list of prospective heroes. Endicott Lorena Mattly celebrated her 76 birthday with a visit from family July 29. Endicott Harvest started the week of July 6, the earliest anyone can remember, every day a new field is sporting a combine and trucks. The roads around Endicott are humming with all kinds of equipment. Endicott The July 4th Celebration was a very hot one. The day crowd was smaller than usual, but the evening was a great success. The fireworks were very beautiful thanks to Tony Anderson and his crew. The Fourth was a great time for visiting with family and old friends. The Dunk Tank was the busiest of all the activities. Endicott Willy and Anne Lowe hosted their daughters Stephanie and Art Dever of Melbourne, Fla., Dee Anne Hill and her son Ian Hill of Kent through the weekend of June 19-21. Endicott Washington State Trap Shoot was this past weekend in Spokane. Congratulations go out to Connor Pelissier, Jessica Geissinger and Joe Vietze. Connor Pelissier won the 200 bird Junior Singles in a shoot off (which qualifies him to go to the Grand American in August), along with being Runner Up for Junior Handicap. Joe Vietze, a junior, shot a 94 on Sunday, along with another 25 straight for this year. Jessica Geissinger shot her first ever 25 straight and winning D Class with a score of 94. Endicott Trinity Lutheran Church will offer Vacation Bible School from July 6 - 10. Children ages 3 - 5 will attend 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. daily, Grades K - fifth will be held 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. daily. Endicott Memorial weekend is a busy time in Endicott with people coming home to visit with extended family and friends. Saturday many people visited Endicott Food Center for a no-cost luncheon. Endicott Travis Morasch, son of John and Caroline Morasch, Endicott, graduated from Eastern Washington University with honors in computer science. Travis graduated from St. John/Endicott High School in 2010. Endicott Community Club had their monthly meeting April 7. They decided to buy five more American flags and 10 more poles for the Cemetery Flag Program. These flags will be available for purchase by the family of any veteran buried in the Endicott Cemetery. Endicott Endicott Community Club met March 3 at Trinity Lutheran Church. The committee for cemetery flags is working on identifying each flag with name, rank and military unit. The Flea Market will be on May 16. The club has information on Facebook and advertising signs will be out soon with times, prices for spaces and more.
