TEKOA — Zonky Jazz Band will play music written by Tekoa’s Mildred Bailey at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 21, in the Empire Theater. COLFAX – After a multi-year hiatus, the local Tapestry Women's Choir is back. The group performed Monday night, May 2, at United Methodist Church. The choir was directed by Liza Dailey and the choir performed 14 songs. "We were really happy with how the concert went and it was really a wonderful audience," Daily said. COLFAX – Pastor Don Moore is retiring after 34 years of pastoral service at Colfax's Church of the Nazarene.
