PULLMAN – The Pullman Community Fourth of July Celebration Committee has decided to cancel all Fourth of July activities with the exception of the fireworks display. No events will take place at Sunnyside Park with fireworks being shot off from an undisclosed location. COLFAX–Susan Graham had her communion photos taken on May 1, 1971, by Bill Walters at his photography studio on Mill Street, which operated from 1968 to 1972. Artisans at the Dahmen Barn’s April Exhibit is “Book It.” It features art in the theme of books, folded books, handmade books, watercolors, encaustic paintings, scraps of antique books made into art collages, lino block prints and watercolors on book pages and even ceramic books - one that you could probably hide your hooch in. The U.S. Geological Survey reported a magnitude 6.5 earthquake and five aftershocks shaking Central Idaho starting at about 5:53 p.m. March 31.
