"For the 14th year, (humane society) has partnered to give local dogs the pool day they deserve," said Lauren Green, public relations manager.     News has been received of the passing of Brownie Jean Mortlock, 95, on July 25th at her home in Kettle Falls. She was the wife of the late pastor Earl Mortlock of the Country Bible Church 1965 - 1967. They had ten children, 26 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren.     COLFAX - The Perkins House aims for Phase Three of renovations to the 1886 structure. The organization is seeking $30,000 to create two drain fields to pull water away from the foundation of the house. Phase Three work is planned to take place next summer.
