    Esther Archer Kroll, 94, of Colfax, passed into the presence of her Savior Jesus Christ on April 2, 2020, at the Courtyard in Colfax. Esther was born July 17, 1925, at the family home near Penawawa, Wash., to John Archer, Sr. and Elsie Sanders Archer. She was the youngest of five children. The family later moved into Colfax.     Eleanor Holmes, passed away April 1, 2020, at home. She was born January 4, 1940, in Hamilton, Mont., to William John & Margaret Emily (Buie) Sheard. She was the youngest of 11 children. She graduated from Freeman High School in 1958. In 1994, she graduated from Spokane Community College, made the Dean list in 1993. She lived her childhood in Mica, Wash.     Rudy Dingman, Oakesdale resident, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at his home following a year long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 75. He was born February 18, 1945, in Denver, Colo., to Theodore and Vonceile Eoff Dingman. He grew up in the mountains west of Denver where there was always plenty of snow.     On Friday, March 20, Whitman County Auditor Sandy Jamison certified the Presidential Primary election counts for the county. In total, from this election, 11,218 ballots were submitted of the 24,687 registered voters, with a voter turnout of 45.44 percent. Democratic votes ended with a total of 6,812, with the county leader of Bernie Sanders receiving 3,040 of those votes.
