The new Palouse Food Bank will have its third distribution Wednesday, April 25 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Palouse Community Center. Organizers report they are serving more people each month, while there has been much food leftover. In March, the truck from Second Harvest in Spokane brought chicken, cabbage, beans, apples, pancake mix, fresh greens and assorted canned goods. A local farm donated fresh eggs.
