    About $60 worth of food was raised and donated to the local food bank during the food for fines drive at Endicott, Librarian Caroline Morasch reported. The annual penny drive to fund children’s programs will continue through April 16. All the money raised during the penny drive will benefit children’s programs throughout the year. Friends of Whitman County Library are sponsoring a raffle to support a complete renovation of the Endicott library.     The sixth annual penny drive at Whitman County Library will be March 28-April 16 in honor of National Library Week. Each of the 14 library branches will collect money to fund programs or projects. National Library Week is a statewide observance sponsored by the American Library Association and libraries across the country.
