    Dusty Dusty B.B. Club members will tour the Perkins House in Colfax April 11, from 10 a.m. until noon. They will have a private tour guide. After the tour, they will have lunch at Events on Main.   • Brinks visit grandchildren in Ellensburg

    Dusty Di and Larry Brink drove to Ellensburg Saturday. They met with their son, Kevin Brink, and his step-daughter, Ashley, of Omak, and the Brink’s grandchildren, Hailey and Matthew and their mother Kirsten, of Redland, Calif. It was the first time Di and Larry met their grandchildren. The grandchildren were on their spring break and were traveling through the Pacific Northwest with their mother.     Dusty David and Phyllis Stueckle are great-grandparents of a baby girl born to Mark and Andrea Davis, London, Sunday. Their first child, she weighed six pounds, two ounces at birth. Grandparents are Doug and Cheryl Stueckle, Coeur d’Alene. The baby is the Stueckles' sixth great-grandchild.     Dusty Last Wednesday night, Homestead Ministries traveled to Pullman High School where they packaged 920 bags of soup with the Pullman FFA in conjunction with FFA week. Radio station KQQQ 1150 also reported on the event.     Dusty Dick and Helen Appel recently attended the American Sheep Industry meeting in San Antonio, Texas. They renewed old friendships and learned the latest about raising sheep. They arrived home on a Sunday to attend their grandson, Joshua’s 13th birthday party at the home of his parents, Liz and Neil Appel. Two days later, Helen and Dick flew to Indianapolis to visit their daughter, Susan, and her family.     Dusty Homestead Ministries went to Valley Christian School in Spokane Valley and made 3,000 bags of soup for the area’s underprivileged.     Dusty Jonathan Stueckle and his mother, Cheryl, were overnight guests at the home of his grandparents, David and Phyllis Stueckle, last week. Jonathan was on his way to combined Ft. Lewis-McChord base for a scheduled meeting and took a side trip to see his grandmother, Phyllis, who is in the Whitman Hospital and Medical Center. The program for February’s meeting will be making baby blankets for Sacred Heart Hospital’s free maternity clinic in Spokane.     Dusty Friday evening, Dusty B.B. Club held its annual community Christmas party in the parish hall of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Colfax. A nice-sized crowd enjoyed a potluck dinner, an entertaining program emcee'd by Joshua and Noemie Appel and a visit from Santa Claus and Rudolph. Last week, Harm and Jan Smith traveled to Yakima to attend Micah Morgan’s Christmas concert at Riverside Christian School.     Dusty Friday will be Larry Brink’s last day of paid employment after almost 22 years at Dusty Farm Co-op/Four Star Supply, Inc. He will join his wife, Di, in retirement. She retired from her job with the LaCrosse School District last spring. Friday will be an open house at the Dusty Four Star Supply to honor Brink.     Dusty Homestead Ministries traveled to Meridian, Idaho, Thursday to help students, faculty, staff and parents of Ambrose Christian School prepare 10,000 bags of lentil, bean and split pea soups and chili for the school’s “Feed the Need” fundraiser.
