    Endicott More than 200 people were served at Community Club's German dinner and silent auction. The auction had many tables of items, and there was very active bidding. The Pullman Kitchen Band entertained the bidders. There was singing and even some dancing. Endicott school will have Grandparents Day today, Nov. 10, and right after lunch their Veterans Day Program will begin. School will be out on Friday for Veterans Day.... Full story

    Endicott Endicott Parent Teacher Organization will have a carnival at the school Oct. 29 with games and food. There will be a costume fun run at 4 p.m., chili and hot dog dinner at 4:30, then the carnival and games from 5 to 7 p.m. The Endicott Community Bible Church will have candy night Oct. 31 at the church from 6 to 8 p.m. They will offer games, hot chocolate and snacks.     Endicott Trinity Lutheran Church's Elizabeth Circle has finished Baby Care Kits that will be sent through Lutheran World Relief to places around the world.   • Army vet Bill Hughes takes Honor Flight

    Endicott Endicott resident Bill Hughes went on the Honor Flight to Washington, D.C., Oct. 3 and returned home on Oct. 4. He was in the Army from Jan. 1952 until Dec. 1953 and is a Korean War Veteran. The group had guardians available for the veterans with wheel chairs to assist in the very busy two days. Upon arrival, the schedule was as follows: Oct. 3: an evening banquet at the Hyatt Regency Chrystal City and a visit to the WWII and Air Force memorials.     Endicott For the Endicott community cleanup weekend, a 40-cubic yard dumpster was filled to the brim, a recycle bin was used and several truck and trailer loads of yard waste were collected.   • Multiflora Park trees to be removed

    Endicott Endicott Community Club met and decided to have some trees cut down in Multiflora Park. The trees are diseased and need to be removed. Cleanup Endicott will be Sept. 23 and 24.     Endicott Jenny Meyer, Endicott Food Center, is very busy now with harvest underway. She makes lunches for several harvest crews in this area. She starts making lunches before 7 a.m. and hopes to have them all ready for pick-up before noon.     Endicott Willy and Anne Lowe just returned from a trip to Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota. They accompanied Ed and Mae Schultz of Colfax. They stayed at a hunting lodge near Carlisle, Mont. They visited Devils Tower in Mont., Mt.     Endicott At Endicott Community Club's monthly meeting June 7 they discussed the Flea Market, a new sound system, Spring Clean Up, the July 4th celebration and the Dunk Tank.     Endicott Wednesday Soup and Bread was served by the Community Bible Church with a lot of soup, bread and desserts. Attending were 90 adults and children.
