    Endicott Endicott Community Club met Jan. 5. The Christmas activities were discussed. Plans are underway for taking down all the Christmas decorations Jan. 30, Bingo Feb. 20 and ongoing projects. Wednesday Soup and Bread was hosted by Trinity Lutheran Church. Eight soups as well as several kinds of bread and desserts were served to 90 residents.     Endicott Endicott Community Club finished the last touches on the Christmas lights Friday with the help of the Endicott/St. John Middle School children. On Saturday, Dec. 5, the lights were turned on. By 5 p.m. ,the Japanese lanterns were launched into the skies over Endicott. The fireworks followed.     Endicott Santa is arriving on Saturday at 5 p.m. Before Santa arrives, the town Christmas lights will be lit, and Chinese lanterns and fireworks will be flying high over Endicott.     Endicott The wind storm caused a lot of downed trees, and the electricity was cut off at approximately 7 p.m. on Nov. 17. Power was back on by 1 p.m. Nov. 18. A couple of trees were blown over on the Clint and Nadine Rice property next to the sewer plant. The lines went over the main transmission lines that run from Endicott to LaCrosse.     Endicott Approximately 25 veterans attended the school Veteran's Day program in the gym. Chais Anderson, student body president, welcomed everyone and announced the presentation of the flag. The National Anthem was played by the high school wind ensemble. Principal Bruce Porubek introduced special guests. Second and third graders performed “Thank a Vet” by Mike Wilson.     Endicott The Endicott Community Club successfully presented its German dinner and silent auction Sunday. More than 200 people attended. The Silent Auction had a variety of items which were bid on continuously through the day. Community Bible Church hosted "Candy Land" on Halloween night.     Endicott Several Community Club members decorated the trees on 3rd St. with Christmas lights over this past weekend to beat the bad weather. The rest of the Christmas decorations will be done the week before Endicott's Christmas celebration Dec. 5. Community Bible Church hosted Soup and Bread dinner at the Trinity Lutheran Church social hall. The ladies provided 10 delicious soups, hearty breads and a variety of cookies and cake for a crowd of about 60 community members to enjoy.     Endicott Harvest started the week of July 6, the earliest anyone can remember, every day a new field is sporting a combine and trucks. The roads around Endicott are humming with all kinds of equipment.     Endicott The July 4th Celebration was a very hot one. The day crowd was smaller than usual, but the evening was a great success.     Endicott Washington State Trap Shoot was this past weekend in Spokane. Congratulations go out to Connor Pelissier, Jessica Geissinger and Joe Vietze. Connor Pelissier won the 200 bird Junior Singles in a shoot off (which qualifies him to go to the Grand American in August), along with being Runner Up for Junior Handicap.
