Endicott The last card party until fall for the Dad's Night in Pinochle Club included the husbands. The hostesses were Casey Shiprek and Mary Repp at Casey's home. Endicott Memorial weekend is a busy time in Endicott with people coming home to visit with extended family and friends. Saturday many people visited Endicott Food Center for a no-cost luncheon. Endicott Approximately 80 people attended the St. John/Endicott Schools' Foundation 20 year celebration dinner at the St. John community building Saturday night. Endicott Endicott Gun Club will host a registered Shoot at the Gun Club on Sunday, May 3. The club will open at 8 a.m. and shooting will start at 9 a.m. The lunch counter will be open. Elizabeth Circle met at Trinity Lutheran Church and packed up 25 baby kits. The kits will go to missions around the world. The kits were blessed at the church prior to being sent. Endicott Travis Morasch, son of John and Caroline Morasch, Endicott, graduated from Eastern Washington University with honors in computer science. Travis graduated from St. John/Endicott High School in 2010. Endicott Community Club had their monthly meeting April 7. They decided to buy five more American flags and 10 more poles for the Cemetery Flag Program. These flags will be available for purchase by the family of any veteran buried in the Endicott Cemetery. Endicott Endicott Community Club met March 3 at Trinity Lutheran Church. The committee for cemetery flags is working on identifying each flag with name, rank and military unit. The Flea Market will be on May 16. The club has information on Facebook and advertising signs will be out soon with times, prices for spaces and more. Endicott Endicott town council members, friends and neighbors gathered at the Endicott Food Center to honor Sue Bafus on her retirement from her position as Town Clerk after 40 years of service. Mayor Verne Strader said a few words about her years of service and how many mayors she had served under. The group enjoyed appetizers and cake after the ceremony. Endicott Trinity Lutheran Church held their rededication of their refurbished organ Sunday, Dec. 14. The organ was originally installed in 1950. Pastor Phil Misner was emcee for the concert. Endicott Santa will be coming to town Saturday, Dec. 6, at 5 p.m. The Endicott Community will be hosting the event which includes fireworks, Japanese lanterns and lighting of the Christmas lights at the Community Club lot. Endicott Sunday, Nov. 2, the Endicott Community Club hosted the Annual German Dinner and Silent Auction. They started setting up the event Saturday with a lot of help from the community. Sunday morning the crew arrived at the Endicott School Cafeteria to start cooking and finish up the arrangement of the Silent Auction. Endicott About 70 friends and family of Alice Stover helped her celebrate her 90th birthday on Sunday, Oct. 26. The get-together was at Trinity Lutheran Church with a luncheon and birthday cake. Endicott Saturday, Oct. 11, Jenny Meyer and her crew at the Endicott Food Center hosted a "Hunters Breakfast" starting at 5 a.m. and running to 11 a.m. She served biscuits and sausage gravy, little pig sausages, scrambled eggs, plain and pumpkin pancakes and fresh maple bars. Endicott Endicott Community Club met Oct. 7. The German dinner and silent auction were discussed and committees are in the process of getting everything ready. The dinner and auction will be Sunday, Nov. 2. Proceeds will go toward projects in Endicott. The Community Club has decided to buy flags and poles for the cemetery. Six military flags, one for each branch of the military, and four U.S. flags will be purchased. Community Club also purchased a fire hydrant for the Town of Endicott to replace a broken one.
