Rosalia Rosalia Garden Club's first fall meeting will be Wednesday, Oct. 5, at the home of Rana French starting with dessert at 1 p.m. The new officers are Rana French, president; Penni Barringer, vice president; Laura Fulton, secretary, and Roseanna Hester, treasurer. Rosalia The students and community of Rosalia High School brought in the most units of blood since 2011 with a record breaking 13 units. Nineteen community members came out April 20 to support the annual blood drive which lead to its great success. Each unit of blood can save up to three lives and makes a huge impact on the local community. The Inland Northwest Blood Center is the sole provider of blood to area hospitals and relies on volunteer donors to help keep fully-stocked shelves....

Rosalia An open house at the Rosalia Fire Station April 12 was conducted for the public to ask questions about the proposed annexation of the Town of Rosalia's fire department into Whitman County Fire District 7. School Superintendent Larry Keller, retired Air Force Colonel, spoke during the assembly. David Frazier, grandfather of Camil, Maicy and Leslee Bothman of Rosalia grade school, was the guest speaker. In order to help make this wash effective, Mayor Nanette Konishi asks business owners, chamber and council members and employees to join in to sweep up the sand and grit from the sidewalks to the curbs, and from there shovel as much as possible into containers to be dumped. Rosalia Oakesdale museum The McCoy Valley Museum in Oakesdale will be open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Labor Day.
