Bielanski stops on tour at Uniontown Dahmen Barn
UNIONTOWN – The Dahmen Barn presents musician Bryan Bielanski Sunday, Oct. 30. Bielanski is an acoustic rock singer-songwriter, who is touring to promote his album “Bryan’s Super Happy Fun Time II.”
Bielanski has traveled all over the world promoting his music, “I’ve been to 18 countries, and the 48 contiguous United States,” he said, “it will be my first time making it to that part of the country, and I am very excited to be making it there.”
Music has been a really big part of Bielanski’s life, starting since before he was born, “my parents were huge music fans, and they’re from Cleveland Ohio where there was quite the underground music scene,” he said, noting that his parent went to a lot of concerts when his mother was pregnant with him. “Music has literally been a huge part of my life even since before I was actually born.”
Bielanski’s father was a musician, “not a professional musician, he met my mom and had a family instead, so it’s in my DNA,” he further stated that he grew up around a variety of different music including the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd, he noted that his parents also listened to a lot of underground music. “Music is just what I wanted to do with my life.”
The Beatles and Nirvana are tied for Bielanski’s biggest influences, he stated, but when it comes to music he listens to a large selection of music, “I listen to a lot of older stuff,” he said “I love Buddy Holiday, Hank Williams Senior, a lot of classical music too like Beethoven.”
Bielanski noted that his most popular song on his newest album is Elf Girlfriend, “It’s kind of a fairy tale song about having an elf girlfriend.” While on tour promoting his newest album Bielanski has been writing new songs throughout the year for another album Byran’s Super Happy Fun Time III, which will be released in early 2023. “Since people like the fantasy songs I’m definitely doubling down on that for the next album,” he said, further stating that he has song about hanging out in the library, super mario brothers, “light hearted goofy things like that seem to be what people are enjoying the most at my concerts.”
Concerning his upcoming concert at the Dahmen Barn Bielanski wants audience members to expect catchy songs with positive vibes, and to “be ready to have a super happy fun time.”
