Colfax player earns trophy

Carrie Hennigar, daughter of Jesse and Cindy Hennigar of Colfax, shows the runner-up plaque she received as a member of the Coeur d’Alene Wildfire team which played in the Idaho State American Softball Association tournament at Meridian. The Wildfire team was coached by Colfax grad Todd Walker, and Carrie joined the team on a recommendation from Terry Eng of Colfax, her coach for summer league ball. The five-day Idaho State event included a camp session on softball. She played left field for the Wildfire and during the summer she was a pitcher, catcher and utility player on her Colfax team. Ca...
