HOSPITAL HIGHLIGHTS

Hospital opening date set Aug. 28

We are excited that the front entrance of the Whitman Hospital is complete and open for your use. This brings to a close Phase II of our project. We want to thank you, the citizens, who made the project possible, Garco as our general contractor, Jim Heilsberg, project manager and Gary Burns, maintenance manager along with the maintenance crew.

Our entire staff has also made this project possible through their input, ideas and patience through some tough times. And last but not least, you, our patients who have put up with a lot since we started the project in 2007.

We are looking at a more modest celebration than the one last October. We have set the date for a ribbon cutting ceremony for Friday, Aug. 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

We look forward to seeing you there. Refreshments will be served.
